Information
A luxurious, divinely smelling, pure rose oil cleanser with wonderful fatty acids to plump and nourish the healthy skin cells and to
preserve them for longer, which slows the natural aging process.
Our skin produces an oil of it's own called sebum. With our busy lifestyles these days and exposure to makeup, dirt and pollution in the air, this sebum can become thick and sticky, making it hard for our skin to shed old dead skin cells. If a pore becomes blocked the sebum is left trapped and builds up under the blockage causing a myriad of issues like black heads, pimples and cysts. Or if your skin produces low levels of sebum your skin may feel tight, flakey and uncomfortable or simply mean our skin looks dull and dry.
Now sebum is our friend... but too much or too little can cause problems for us, which is why it's important to embrace the flow of your skin rather than going against it. Once balance is achieved, your skin will thank you for it!
So how does it work?
When our skin is
warm our sebum becomes more liquefied and flows easier. When our skin
is cold our sebum becomes thicker and more waxy, so when we use these cleansing oils...
- our skin recognizes the oils because the blends used in
this product are similar to sebum.
- the oils interact with our sebum
thinning it out and drawing impurities to the surface.
- the warmth
from our hands softens the sebum.
- the stimulation from the
massaging brings blood closer to the surface boosting our circulation
and bringing nutrients and oxygen to our skin's deeper layers.
- the dead skin cells become unstuck with warmth & stimulation, the dirt and debris sitting in the pores of the face become loosened.
- this creates an incredible deep cleanse without stripping the skin or disrupting the natural rhythm of the skin.
- nor will it scratch the
fresh plump new skin cells waiting for their turn in line!
Pure Rose Essential Oil - When applied directly to the skin, products containing rose essential oil can help hydrate dry skin, clear acne, reduce signs of aging, minimize the appearance of scars, and help with conditions such as eczema and rosacea.
Lavender Essential Oil - Lavender has the ability to lessen acne, help lighten skin, and reduce wrinkles, plus it's wonderfully relaxing.
Frankincense Essential Oil - Frankincense will soothe and reduce inflammation and can also help prevent acne forming thanks to the boswellic acids it contains which are capable of killing bacteria associated with acne. Plus it's a bit famous for it's anti-aging & wrinkle-reducing superpowers!
Tea tree Essential Oil - this is a popular choice for treating acne because of its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It's thought to calm redness, swelling, and inflammation. It may even help to prevent and reduce acne scars, leaving you with smooth, clear skin.Harsh exfoliants and chemical laden cleansers can damage the new skin cells thus shortening their lifespan and accelerating the aging process.
Final Step:
Removal of the oil is crucial, once this oil has been worked over the skin it has picked up all kinds of grit and grime and if left on the skin would resettle. So all you need is a soft face cloth and warm water, wring the cloth out well and give your face a thorough wipe over, rinse the cloth and repeat.
