Comes in an Earth-friendly 30gm glass & metal jar.
Calendula - is as a gentle anti-viral, an anti-inflammatory, as well an antibacterial agent. Calendula is a wonderful wound healer.
Comfrey - acts as an anti-inflammatory to promote healing of bruises, sprains, and open wounds
when applied topically. The roots and leaves of this plant contain the
protein allantoin, which stimulates cell proliferation and promote wound and bone healing.
Chickweed - with anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antifungal properties, infusions of Chickweed can be used to treat a number of skin complaints including; boils, sores, rashes, wounds, eczema and psoriasis. It will also relieve the itching and inflammation that accompanies many of these conditions.
Yarrow - since the times of ancient Greece, yarrow has been used in poultices and ointments to treat wounds. The legendary Achilles used yarrow as a field dressing for his soldiers’
wounds in the Trojan War, and the plant is named for him. It is known as a “styptic” – an astringent herb that stops bleeding. Perfect for wounds, bruises and strains.
Active Manuka Honey - applied topically, manuka honey effectively treats burns, ulcers and non-healing wounds. It has also been shown to combat antibiotic-resistant strains of infections, such as MRSA.
Colloidal Silver - Studies show that silver particles exert antibacterial properties that aid the treatment of diabetic ulcers, skin grafts, bed sores, necrotizing fasciitis and other serious skin injuries.
This colloidal silver is lab proven in NZ to treat staphylococcus (a super bug).
